offense in TB? I am leaning towards starting him (so not a must start but I'll probably take my chances).

I have him and am starting him. The injury didn't sound that serious - if anything, the DL stint seemed precautionary. Halladay is one of those guys I'll always start, regardless of matchup.

I'm going with him as well. Thing is I have Longoria and Pena going today as well. If TB scores I want all of them coming from those guys....lol

Halladay was a must start, IMO, and he pitched well after shaking the rust off. Looked fairly pedestrian for the first 3 innings, but became dominant after that, only allowing 1 baserunner in the last 3 innings. He had a low pitch count ceiling, and that's why he was pulled after 6.

Gave his insight on Halladay's start...can't see why it's "late"

His "insight" was after the start had already happened. I can tell you all the must-starts after they happen too if you'd like. Hello, McFly, anybody in there?

I wholeheartedly apologize for using your thread to talk about what you were asking about with added insight. Instead, I will make sure to start a new thread so as not to offend your sensitive nature while I am trying to set your worries at ease in the future. I will also try my darndest to check every thread before every game starts just to make sure that I get every question answered as early as possible.

Or I'll just continue to check the boards when I can, contribute when I can, add what insight I garner from watching stuff, and hope that the authors are smart enough to recognize if the posts contain any useful information instead of acting like I'm an idiot for trying to be helpful. I'll even try to use words like "was" and "had" to make sure the person I'm responding to can tell that I was aware the game already took place and was only trying to add what helpful nuggets I could provide in my tardiness.

One of those two will happen, I'm sure.

The thread is about whether or not to start Halladay. You posting that you thought he was a must start after the game was over was both late and worthless. I can find all of your "insights" by looking at the boxscore. If your goal with your little nuggets is to give someone that doesn't want it some irrelevant information then continue on penguin.
