i'd stand pat. where is Hawpe going to play in your lineup? you look shallow at closer too so i have to say no.

I have decent closers. I would insert Hawpe into my OF, possible bench or trade Rios.

I don't like the fact that you're giving up the best player in the deal (in A-Rod). I'd pass.

Does getting Kinsler (who is better than Phillips) make up that difference? I do get Hawpe who performs well every year. And Zimmerman, who is no slouch.

I like your side. Kinsler just went through a month and half slump. I think he has a monster 2nd half in him. No signs of him getting hurt this year. I think he is the best player in this trade. Phillips is fighting that bruised thumb that could be effecting his stroke recently. There is talk that Arod will have to take a breather every week. Lowell went through the same hip surgery last year and has broken down because of it. Not to say that I'm high on Zimmerman but your trading a closer to get him so you win there. Hawpe is hitting in the heart of that resurgent Colorado lineup. I like. Here's how I break it down: Kinsler > Arod Hawpe > Phillips Zimmerman > Jenks
