I have decent depth at pitching and I think Longoria would completely solidify my team. What do you think? I also have a deal sending Oswalt/Liriano for Cain/Nolasco that should be finialized today.
My Roster:
C - Matt Wieters
1B - Albert Pujols
2B - Chase Utley
SS - Hanley Ramirez
3B - Mark DeRosa
OF - Nick Markakis
OF - Matt Holliday
OF - Matt Kemp
UTIL - Adam Dunn
UTIL - Brian Roberts
SP - Tim Lincecum
SP - Roy Oswalt
SP - Matt Garza
SP - Adam Wainwright
SP - Erik Bedard
SP - Francisco Liriano
SP - Yovanni Gallardo
SP - Chris Carpenter
SP - Tommy Hanson
SP - John Smoltz
RP - Brad Lidge
RP - Jose Valverde
RP - Kerry Wood

I dont think you need to. How many teams are in this league? Not everyday you see Pujols, Utley and HanRam on the same team. Not to mention adding Longoria. Bottom line, I dont think having DeRosa at 3B is killing you, but losing Lincecum might in the long run.

I would sit tight. I think Lincecum may be more valuable to you than Longoria in the long run.
How many teams in this league? With that lineup you should be undefeated!

I absolutely would. You have enough depth at pitcher to handle losing Lincecum, and going from DeRosa to Longoria is an excellent upgrade.

It's a 10 team league. I've made some pretty crafty trades this year. I drafted Hanley with my first round pick. Then I traded Berkman/McCann for Pujols at the beginning of the year. Then, I traded Adrian Gonzalez and Heath Bell for Chase Utley and Brad Lidge a couple of weeks into the year.
I've mainly just tried to fill the team with players I really like and Longoria is just one of those guys. We also get to keep 2 players and those are easily going to be HanRam and Pujols and with my 1st pick in next years draft, I'll take Utley if he's available.
I really like my team, but I just thought it might be a decent improvement acquiring Longoria.

I disagree with the others. I'd make this trade. It plays to your strengths (solid pitching) and weaknesses (DeRosa at 3B). Longoria will be a 1st round draft pick next season so to say he's not comparable to Lineceum doesn't make sense.
Any thoughts on this one?
