He's trying to steal my Ricky!

OK, So this is a 20 team dynasty league. 5x5 H2H scoring. My OF is getting old, my prospects are weak, and I need a second baseman, but overall my team does very well in this league. I've been after Nolan Reimold, and his owner is now willing to deal him at the price of Ricky Romero. To me the offer seems reasonable. I like Ricky a lot, but I got the jump on a lot of great young pitching this season, such as Bergeson, West and Richmond. So losing Romero shouldn't hurt too much. He's made it clear that his price is firm. Anyone have a reason why I should not accept. I think Reimold has Josh Hamilton-like potential personally.

Well, I didn't want him to retract. So I took the deal, then dropped Laynce Nix for Matt Palmer (who I was surprised to see available in this league, looks like he was dropped after that rough start).

I think that you are overvaluing Reimold if when you compare him to Hamilton, you mean the Hamilton of last year.

The guys on MLB network and a couple of scouts have reaffirmed my thought that Reimold will probably be a decent player for a good while, but won't really be a superstar. Think Carlos Guillen type of career.
