This guy just rakes when he is in the lineup, does anybody think he will start to get regular playing time after interleague play ends? He must be ridiculously bad on defense if the struggling cubs offense hasn't already starting to play him regularly.

I'm hoping so! Jake played 3rd base today (6/26) which if he spells ARam while he is out could make him more valuable as a 3B/RF option. It is also worth mentioning that he batted 5th the other day and 6th today. He went 3-4, 2 runs 2 RBIs and a HR. To anyone hearing about this guy for the first time: If you have room for a project on your team pick him up in all formats. He was mashing in the minors, and should get an extended chance at some point this year in the majors!

It all depends on whether he can find a position or he gets traded to AL. Pretty obvious he can hit though, just if he is going to get regular opportunity!
