Meche @ PIT? whir

I really want to start Meche since he's been very solid over the past month or so, but after getting rocked for a nine runs and nine hits in 3 2-3 innings against St. Louis, I'm hesitant. Given, five of those runs were driven by Pujols, so I can only blame Meche for the other four which came from real human beings...

Despite some improved offense, I'm still not afraid of Pittsburg, so this seems like a good chance for Meche to right the ship. I could use a boost in all pitching categories, especially Ks.

Any thought?

I'm facing the same dilemma and I'm leaning towards starting him. Pittsburgh does sport the second highest batting average at home (so WHIP may be problematic), but the Pirates are in the bottom third of the league in runs scored and RBIs at home.

I expect a decent outing ratios-wise and a good chance at a win, since the Pirates's starter hasn't pitched since 2007 and has a career ERA near nine.

Hopefully Meche does well!

i would start meche no doubt. but then again i do not own meche in any league. so haha.

do you have anyother choices or is meche it?
i would be very hestitant to start meche.
