I have a feeling that they will both come back to me in the second round. I am pretty sure i will be getting soriano with the 5th pick (ten team league). I am a little worried about Prior's health. Who would you take?
i'm drafting with my friends from school and they seem to value mashers (think Sheffield and Bonds) over 5 categories. Also, they seem to be swayed by yahoo rankings. Fortunately, yahoo ranks halladay, pedro, schilling and schmidt over Prior.
Soriano with the 5th pick? And Beltran/Prior in the 2nd? I would be thrilled to be able to Draft those guys in those Positions. I think all 3 should be gone by Pick 7.

Maybe Vlad will be there with your second Pick if this is how they draft. I would go Vlad over Prior/Beltran.

Prior 3rd overall is a lot more reasonable than the 2nd round. At least give these guys some form of a cheat sheet. Give them swarmees one that was just put up. That way you at least have a challenge. But they don't sound like the kind of people that would take somebody's advice even if they had access to it........
My advice is take Soriano in the first and then Beltran in the second. After that, filling the rest of the cats should be easy. Just get some mashers who have a good BA. And if Prior slips to the third round, grab him there. LOL, I never thought I'd be giving advice to somebody saying "don't draft Prior in the second round".

i know jackal after drafting in the cafe challenge with you guys, i salivate over having prior and beltran in the second. As far as helping them, these are my school friends who talk an unbelievably amount of trash, and helping them is out of the question
