Help Me Please! Head to Head Strategy...

Postby jlmathis » Fri Jun 26, 2009 2:29 am

Hi guys! This is my very first time to this website and its awesome. I'll be contributing all the time. This is my first year doing weekly 12 team head to head and I'm currently in 2nd place, but have a few questions. Here is my team....

C - Yadier Molina
1B - Mark Teixeira
2B - Dustin Pedroia
2B/SS - Brian Roberts
SS - Ben Zobrist
3B - Evan Longoria
1B - 3B Pablo Sandoval
OF - Carlos Lee
OF - Nelson Cruz
OF - Jacoby Ellsbury
OF - Shin Soo Choo
OF - Justin Upton
Utility - Joey Votto
Bench - Nick Johnson
P - Tim Lincecum
P - Chad Billingsly
P - Johnny Cueto
P - Joe Saunders
P - Scott Richmond
P - David Price
P - Jose Valverde
P - David Aardsma
P - Huston Street
P - Andrew Bailey
P - Fransisco Liriano
DL - Ervin Santana.

My question is should I try to package some of my closers to try and upgrade my offense and use those players to get better starting pitching where I can have my full 12 starts per week, because right now I'm getting around 6-8 but if I could maximize where I am getting 12 a week I think that with a better lineup and 12 starters going for me I could just dominate. What do yall think? Which is the better strategy, better offense and rotating 12 starters or continue using my closers. Thanks guys and look forward to your responses!
