Keeper league or not, I take Cahill over Davis. Davis's ceiling is Dunn with a worse OBP. He was over his head last year.

Cahill was superb in the minors and is continuing that in the bigs right now. BA and Baseball Prospectus both love his long-term potential, calling him a solid #2, fringe #1 starter.

Top that off with your need for pitching, and it sounds like you've got yourself something you cant pass up.

Can you help me out?

Take Cahill. CDavis has been a disaster, and Cahill aside from one start has been nails.

This could be a tough one depending on the parameters of your keeper league...for this year, I definitely take Cahill (I just dropped Davis myself, today, finally) but I'm one of the few who thinks long term Davis might be able to figure it out. But again, it depends on how many you keep or if there are any rules. If you share those particulars, I'll be able to better gauge.

Thoughts?
