Why does his death mean we have to forget that he had some very questionable (and I'm being nice) situations with kids? Why should his musical legacy survive longer than his legacy of abuse of children?

I guess i'm in the minority here, but i never understood people loving his music? Yes he could sing and dance. But his music seemed like school girl bubblegum music. He is held in Sinatra, Elvis, Fab 4 class.

Yea I know he was "good" but I don't think he was better than Elvis or Sinatra. I do understand why people like him and he did have a lot of great songs but he was in the industry for 40 odd years.
