It really depends what your situation is for positional depth....

But the trade looks like a pretty even deal to me.... If you have depth at SS and could use an OF then it looks good for ya.

How deep is the league? It seems like a good deal for you as you will still have relatively strong pitching and Ichiro - while not his old self - still offers more value at Util than Bartlett.

Absolutely... totally do it. Shields eclipses the combined value of Scherzer and Marmol in my mind. esp when u factor in the potential dessimation of the dbacks and the likely improvement of the rays in half #2.

Ichiro over Bartlett I would say it a fair assessment. Ichiro does tend to give you squat for SBs in september, but u have to make it to the dance, right?

i'd accept it in a heartbeat. i think bartlett falls off and ichiro will be ichiro. shields should be better than scherzer and marmol's nothing more than a throw in.
