Do I do either of these? Will Soriano heat up and make me regret it? I am without Peavy and could use a pitching bump. I want to make sure these are NOT vetoable too...

Man you got screwed just as I did with the Peavy injury!

I really like Haren a lot and I think this is the year he doesn't break down post all-star break.

I would do the deal for Haren. I almost pulled the trigger on a similar deal but the other team I was trading with didn't like Soriano because he is streaky as hell and in a big slump.

Help with mine.

i'd rather the first one. i prefer haren to vasquez. and i'd also rather give up blanton than cook IMO. I thinks stephen drew is starting to heat up and will have a very good second half. as far as soriano making you regret it. i really have no clue

i own stephen drew and thats why i traded for him. in his short career he has been a 2nd half player like ethier, brad hawpe, markakis, crede, huff.

haren has had his problems in the past 2nd halfs. if it was me i would do the second deal. even if soriano heats up Votto will give you the closest production to soriano, plus you are getting a drastic upgrade in pitching either way. blanton and cook are a toss up IMO.
