Is this actually a fair deal? WHIR

Postby alex42083 » Thu Jun 25, 2009 10:17 am

I've been trying to get Sabathia from another owner.
His final offer is Sabathia for my Lackey, Wainwright and Nolasco.

It's a keeper league, though, and I have Kazmir coming off the DL. I got Nolasco off waivers and Wainwright for the crappy Vlad.

It just seems to me that I'm giving up a lot but CC would be a keeper.. Thoughts? WHIR

CC is a stud, but I do think you're giving up a lot to get him. Lackey is having a bad year & Nolasco is just starting to heat up. As a keeper, CC does seem pretty attractive, but I'd prob try to get something more from his end or have you remove 1 player from the deal

Thanks for helping with mine.

Could you help with who to drop on mine too:

I own CC in a keeper league, and even I think that way too much to give up.

Help with mine? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=391547

giving up way too much..Nolasco was solid last year and hopefully is going back to form..Although he era is still high, look at what hes done since being called up..

Lackey will work things out...Why try 2 possible 3 aces for one?

I have CC and Nolasco, and I wouldn't do the deal. I'm averse to pitching keepers regardless (too many variables and too high injury risk). That aside, I think you're giving up way too much for a guy who is absolutely solid, but who may be injury prone as of last game.

I say "nay."

Giving up way too much. Plus, I think that Lackey might turn it around, so I wouldn't give up on him yet.

Thanks for helping with mine.
