I was recently offered Mark Reynolds and Berkman for Prince Fielder in a 10-team, 20-cat H2H limited keeper league (we keep two hitters, one pitcher.) I was going to hold onto Fielder and Wieters. I'd be unlikely to keep either of the two incoming players were I to accept, but I could probably use the uptick in production this season if Reynolds keeps it up and Berkman has a strong second half. I'm dead last in runs but have quite a few notorious second-half performers.
I should also mention I have Huff and Votto at 1B and Beltre at 3B. Any input would be appreciated.

I'd do it for the upgrade @ 3rd. Beltre is bad and he has injury problems.
I'd do it. I think Berkman is ever bit as good as Fielder, just struggling a bit. Even if he's nursing an injury this year (people have speculated that's why he's struggled) he'll still be equal to Fielder in terms of keeper value for next season. Reynolds gets no respect, but he's been an absolute beast. Worst case scenerio he's Adam Dunn in his prime (when he stole bases). Not a bad throw in.

Just that I'd be sending a keeper out for two guys I'd have no intention of keeping beyond this season and that neither of the incoming players fills a real positional need. Beltre has been on a tear lately and Huff is your classic second-half player. Thanks for the input.
As a Reynolds drafter I have to say this guy rocks. I selected him late as a backup for Garrett Atkins and withing 2 weeks I decided it should be the other way around (and now Atkins is long off my team). You should go get him, even if you counter to do something not involving Fielder. With ARods collapse Reynolds is next best to David Wright. He hits homers, drives in runners, steals bases, and is IB eligible if needed.
I would actually shop Fielder around and see what other guys would give you for him. Votto is a good 1st baseman and if he stays mentally sound is a legit keeper aswell. I am not a huge fan of fielder as a keeper and if you could get more for him I would def. try.
