Monster Deal - Bay, Hill and Aardsma

Postby The_Idiot » Tue Jun 23, 2009 10:55 pm

I am pretty much conceding 1 point in the saves category by giving Aardsma. I was offered:
My Jason Bay, Aaron Hill and David Aardsma for
His Josh Beckett, Ryan Zimmerman and Orlando Hudson

I countered with Markakis instead of Bay. What do you think?

My Roster (12 Team Roto re-draft):
SP Matt Cain
SP Yovani Gallardo
SP Clayton Kershaw
SP Chris Volstad
SP Ubaldo Jimenez
RP David Aardsma
RP Carlos Marmol
Bench Nick Blackburn
Bench John Smoltz (DL)
Bench Brandon Webb (DL)

C Jeff Baker
C Geovany Soto
1B Lance Berkman
2B Aaron Hill
SS Ryan Theriot
3B Kevin Kouzmanoff
MI Adam Kennedy (2b/of)
CI Nick Johnson (1B)
OF Justin Upton
OF Andrew McCutcheon
OF Nick Markakis
OF Jason Bay
OF Matt Kemp
UT Billy Butler (1B)

Bench - Hank Blalock (1b/3b)
Bench - Willie Bloomquist (SS/OF)
Bench - Nolan Reimold (OF)
Bench - Melvin Mora (3B)
Bench - Josh Hamilton (OF) (DL)

dont give up bay, but with markakis i think you should do it. i like beckett for the rest of the year and you need pitching. i think aaron hill is for real, so i hate to give him up. but he still should drop off in the 2nd half b/c there's no way he repeats those 1st half numbers. zimmerman is nice. so pretty fair deal that helps your team.

Id stick with what you have already as I dont see you improving your team with the deal you were offered or the deal you yourself proposed.
