I'm wondering if there's anyone who sees Rollins on a day-to-day basis. He's been in my line-up all year, and I had huge hopes for him, and spent some good auction $ on him, but as you all know, he's been unbelievably bad. What do you think for the second half? He can't possibly be this bad all year, can he? Any theories on what's wrong?
I don't even bother dangling him since his value is at an all-time low, so I just have to hope he turns it around. I need the runs, SB's and up in average.

I haven't been watching the Phils, so I know I'm not the person you want answering this, but I'll just point out that he has usually been a 2nd-half player (ops-ing about 80 points higher after the ASB over his career). So that should give you some hope.
And now hopefully a Phils phan can chime in with a more useful opinion.

I am a Rollins owner and a Phillies fan. I have a partial season ticket plan, so I see him quite a bit, and I read a lot of news on the Phils. Anyway, here's my 2 cents...Rollins, as you may know, gets into bad habits with his swing where he starts to uppercut and then pop everything up. Cynical Phils fans say he wants to be a power hitter. I don't know about that. I do know that he is hitting a lot of balls in the air, and like Willie Mays Hays, with his speed, he should be hitting the ball on the ground and legging it out. He claims that he's figured out the problem. So far, it hasn't really helped at all. We'll see.

His BABIP is still way below what it has been the past few years while his GB% is in line with his norm so I think there is still reason to believe he breaks out and produces at expected levels over the second half.
