Saves are a dogfight in this shallow roto league. It's pretty much up for grabs. Only problem is all the current closers are owned and I just lost Scott Downs (and didn't get Jason Frasor), so I'm one of the only guys not starting four closers every night. I'm at risk of falling behind and it could be costly.
Someone just dropped Mike Gonzalez and Rafael Soriano is a FA. Should I be making room for one of them? I assume Downs or Branyan would be the drop.

ya, Drop Branyan and go w/ Gonzalez. Although Branyan is having a great season so far, if SV's are important, then I would probably cut him first. Although, I don't think you're going to get a ton of SV's from Gonzo.
help me?

Soriano is a good pick if you don't need saves THAT badly. He's actually been pitching better than Gonz this year, but only gets save opps when the 8th is full of lefties and the 9th is full of righties. If anything he'll help with K's and K/9 and keeping your ERA down.
Either one is a good pick, but I favor soriano just a little more.
