My Cabrera for DLee and Lincecum? WHIR

Do I deal Miguel Cabrera for Derrek Lee and Tim Lincecum? I only consider this because Peavy is out and CC is a concern right now.

12 Team H2H league, with 6 Keepers -- (Keepers go back into the draft after 2010).

If you are getting both Lee and Lincecum I would have to consider this. Lee is no longer an elite 1B but he should put up solid numbers and Lincecum would solidify a rotation that would be iffy without both Peavy and Sabathia

Hell yes. You lose some with Miggy, but Lee when healthy is not that much of a drop off. Lincecum will replace Peavy.

It's a no-brainer for me...Yes Lee was frustrating for the first two months of the season but his numbers have been solid in June..

this one is tough......i think the trade itself isnt the best valuewise.......i would prob look for other ways to improve ur staff.......however, if u cant find anything then u might do this because ur offense is stacked already. First i would try to acquire someone like vasquez much more cheaply.

Anyone else think this is worth doing?

I would hate to give up Cabrera, but feel my staff may need the bump from Lincecum and I did recently get Longoria and have him as a keeper for one year longer than Cabrera and Pujols.

I would pass. Give me M-cab over Lince and Lee.
Lee is a middle tier 1b at best. I would expect a better return.

Talent-wise you're getting the short end of the stick. But looking at your squad it's clear you need pitching right now, and your offense is good enough that you can sustain the dropoff from Miggy to Lee. I'm not sure you can get that much better a deal than that considering it's Miggy...I mean, you're getting a top-3 SP in the deal.
