He has been pitching pretty well. Does he hold onto the job the rest of the year? What do you guys think about him closing next year, or will they have to bring someone else in?

I'd say he'll keep the job for the rest of the year but I suspect the Rays will bring in a high profile closer over the winter.

I say that depends on how he does the rest of the way, and he's looking real good right now.

I hope so. I picked him up at the start of the year as a free agent in an AL only keeper league and would love to hang on to him for next year.

Dude is a stud. Anyone who was able to grab him landed gold. I was able to sell Franklin high because Howell wil be a adequate replacement.
