Arod to lose time to rest hip

Alex Rodriguez will be given one day off a weak through the All-Star break.

It's a plan worked up by a plan created by Dr. Marc Philippon, the surgeon who operated on A-Rod's hip in March. Hopefully it will help him battle feelings of fatigue. "We'll follow his instructions and regroup in a month," said A-Rod. "The idea is that I'll get stronger each month." We'll keep an eye out on the Yankees lineup every day.

Kind of worrisome, as I'm currently trying to trade for him. But I guess at 33 years old, and coming off hip surgery, it is to be expected. I have to assume he will still put up the numbers over the long run if he's in the lineup.
