Lackey Vs. Kershaw: Ugh!

I have both Kershaw and Lackey on my points team. Both have been spotty this year. Lackey's earned me 40 points over the last month, while Kershaw's gotten me 46.

They face each other Sunday. Can't decide to start both, one or neither. I have innings to burn in this league - I'm on a -24 IP pace - but I don't want to LOSE points, which is possible if one of them stinks!

Thoughts?

I would just start Lackey. Kershaw should rack up a few k's but his other numbers could hurt more than help.

debating it also..I have kershaw, and my pitching has been so good lately..He pitched alright(typical kershaw) against LA at home.(5 innings 1.80 era but 1.60 whip)

He has pitched great(era) over the last month 3.28 but his whip is way up there at 1.56.

He pitched against LA without vlad in lineup. Now he is and At LAA.

I have Wainwright(KC) and Millwood(SF) today so I might bench him or put him out there and hope millwood and wainwright deals today to bring kershaws whip down.

i wouldnt start either. both are terrible matchups.

as much as I want to start him (because all of my match ups next week look to be awful) I am not optomistic he'll put up a good line. I started him against the A's and he gave a good start, one out away from a quality start... however, the A's are not the Angels and I don't trust Kershaw against that line up
