But his K rate is way down and he's been liable to giving up HRs, and Texas is Texas - it makes me nervous. To keep my innings on track I'd like to make either this start or Oswalt @ MN, but I'm disinclined to that matchup as well. Any advice?
it's not RJ that youu have to worry about it's the run support. im a Giant's fan and a bit biased myself. but we have been hitting well as of late, mix of long and small ball so you never know what you're gonna get each day. texas is a SOLID hitting team. if they figure RJ out early or if RJ falters, it's game over buddy. if you're trying to get the W, it's risky. if you're already up in the W cat and looking for Ks and ERA, then he could be a good play.
I like Oswalt so I see ur dilemma. but he's been pretty hittable as of late. i'd go with RJ.
