It's not the greatest trade but Team A needs help in starting pitching and in the outfield. Not sure who they would play at SS and I probably wouldn't make the trade if I were Team A, but I've never been one to veto trades unless people are cheating.

its not about being unfair or stupid, its if you think its collusion. The trade is absolutely idiotic but not vetoable.
A guy in my league just dealt Hanley for Billingsley and fukodome (he's a chicago fan). Idiotic yes veto no.

Well considering Tori Hunter has been the best fantasy player in the deal production wise so far, it is definitely NOT vetoable. People get to wrapped up in names, it's the reason Dice-K is still owned in 90% of leagues. That being said, I would probably take the Hanley side and hope he and Hamilton finish strong, but this trade is not as one-sided as people are indicating.

Yeah, unfortunately for everyone else in the league it's not vetoable. Not a good trade, but there's plenty of evidence to suggest that both teams are doing what they think is best for their respective teams.

I hate seeing deals like this go down because it's obviously making it a lot tougher on the rest of the league, but you can't say much about it.

i'm glad i'm not in leagues with such veto happy people. some of the trades described in other topics that get vetoed are unreal.

I'm staunchly anti-veto in all cases outside of cheating (or where the trade is so stupid and unbalanced it can wreck the league...) Is this a keeper league? If so --- its a bad bad deal, and I'd certainly have some questions for team A. If it isn't a keeper league, there's really not much wrong with the trade at all.
Anyways...as long as team A can explain why he made the deal in a reasonable manner, it cannot be vetoed. If he can't, then I'd sooner replace him in the league then start vetoing deals... Someone ever tries to veto a trade I make I'll quit the league that very day...

this isn't a good trade by any means, but it's not like he's dumping talent to help other teams. torii hunter is currently a top 5 fantasy player and hanram hasn't shown much power this year.
