Who won this blockbuster trade? WHIR!

Postby cashkid » Thu Jun 18, 2009 1:29 pm

Team A gets: Harren, Holliday, Morneau

Team B gets: Galardo, Carlos Lee, MCab

Just based on talent and without knowing the rosters who got the better trade?

Without looking too much into it, it seems like 2 teams just swapped 3 similar guys with each other. All guys put up similar numbers so the trade seems like almost a wash. I like Team B a tad better, as I think MCab is better than Morneau, and C Lee is better than Holliday. Haren will soon regress towards the mean a little bit and his #s will match Gallardo's.

Can you help me out if you get the chance?

It would help to see the rest of the two rosters.

But just on those players, I would prefer trade B.

Morneau has better numbers right now, but MCab isn't too far back, and he has a much higher ceiling then Mornuea.

Lee is definitely better then Holliday.....especially Holliday in Oakland.

And Gallardo is better then Harren.....so far.

Help with mine.....

I also think its close, but would probably lean towards side B without seeing the rosters.

Can you help?
