How Bad?

Postby camperking » Thu Jun 18, 2009 11:25 am

I just accepted a trade that has me trading Holliday for Carpenter. I was thinking that my O is strong enough that I could let him go. Did I screw up? Having buyers remorse!

very risky deal for you - I personally would have waited for a healthier pitcher, but if he Carp stays healthy its a fine deal

well, carpenter has been pitching very well this year, but i dont think he has to stamina to last till the end of the year (didnt really pitch 2 prev seasons). you definitely overpaid, but you do need some SP help

It's extremely unlikely that Carpenter stays healthy for the rest of the year. If he does, you did fine. If he doesn't, then well...you gave up a great bat for a good looking name on your DL.
