depending on how the year pans out of course.. but based on whats happened so far this year..
1. Mauer for sure top 10. 2. last year appears to be a fluke for Prince Fielder, so that move him to early 2nd RD. 3. Matt Wieters hit a homerun last night. just sayin' 4. I just dont understand when people dont put carlos lee in the 2nd rd. he's about the most consistant stat producer in baseball. .315, 30HR, 110+ RBI. every year. 5. is Adam Jones not just as good as Matt Kemp or Carlos Beltran? 6. move Arod down. he's not as good as he was when he was on steroids.

i don't know if i'd take out beltran, maybe move him down to the 20-25 range, but otherwise i second this. both upton brothers should be second round picks.

1 - Albert Pujols, 1B, STL 2 - Hanley Ramirez, SS, FLA 3 - David Wright, 3B, NYM 4 - Alex Rodriguez, 3B, NYY 5 - Chase Utley, 2B, PHI 6 - Evan Longoria, 3B, TB 7 - Ryan Bruan, OF, MIL 8 - Carl Crawford, OF, TB 9 - Jose Reyes, SS, NYM 10 - Mark Teixeria, 1B, NYY 11 - Miguel Cabrera, 1B, DET 12 - Grady Sizemore, OF, CLE 13 - Carlos Beltran, OF, NYM 14 - Joe Mauer, C, MIN 15 - Ian Kinsler, 2B, TEX 16 - Ryan Howard, 1B, PHI 17 - Justin Morneau, 1B, MIN 18 - Prince Fielder, 1B, MIL 19 - Tim Linecum, SP, SF 20 - Mark Reynolds, 3B, ARZ 21 - Jason Bay, OF, BOS 22 - Matt Kemp, OF, LAD 23 - Johan Santana, SP, NYM 24 - Victor Martinez, C/1B, CLE 25 - Adrian Gonzalez, 1B, SD
Until Wright shows he can get his HR stroke back, I don't see him at #3. Reynolds also does not belong in the top 25. It's been said, but yeah, both Uptons belong in there as 2nd round picks at least and you still have to consider Hamilton, though maybe he's more of a late 2nd rounder due to injury concerns. He's a hell of a ballplayer, but how will he look the remainder of this season?
I'd be more inclined to talk about lists like this as we approach the end of the season.

That's just a crazy assertion. "Based" on that...
- Your 1/2/3 would be Pujols/Ibanez/Crawford - Johan would drop off the list entirely, but Zack Greinke would be there - Ben Zobrist would probably be on the list due to position eligibility
