I'm dropping Pavano which pitcher should I pick up?
Pitchers: Hochevar, Contreras, Blanton, Richmond, Bannister, Volstad, Sonnastine, Hammel or Correia.

I'm debating almost the same exact list. Leaning towards Blanton. Contreras scares me although he capable of great outings. Hochevar looks interesting but he's low on k's and I have a strict no-rookie pitchers policy.

I would go with either Contreras or Richmond. Richmond's a rookie, so he's iffy, but he's been nice so far (overall).

Take the hot hand - Contreras is streaky but he's on now, and his streaks tend to last a bit.
Help?

Too bad about the policy, that eliminates players like Porcello.

Sure you can find an exception, but on a whole it works for me.
