sorry to tell you but i think that the justin upton side trade wins.
i see upton as the best player in the trade for a keeper format, and haren is just as good as verlander. even with verlander pitching great haren has been great aswell.

Interesting, I know Upton has a lot of upside, I thought this trade was close but didn't think that the other guy clearly go the better deal. I actually dropped and Upton in April and picked him back up right when he got hot again. Any thoughts on scarcity at the position? 3B vs OF's?

Yeah, OF is definitely an easier position to replace. In that sense, it's an ok trade for you. I don't see anything especially wrong with it; you got Wright who is (right now) the best player in the deal. I see this trade as an advantage to you now, maybe a slight disadvantage a couple years down the line.

in a keeper format this is close, but the wright side still wins.

Yeah, +1 for the Wright side. I think the price is right on Wright now and I like Verlander the rest of the way too.
