PUJOLS TRADE WAS IT GOOD ?.....WHIR

Postby bears2 » Wed Jun 17, 2009 4:15 pm

i am in a 10 team very deep 5x5 roto league with 40 move limit.i made a tarde so theres no turning back but i traded away
albert pujols,mike cameron,coco crsip,jorge posada
i got
Alfonso soriano,trevor hoffman,,todd helton,jason varitek

my thinkin i save 2 moves cause i was fixin to drop cameron an crisp.,i will lose this league anyhow unless i make a move or 2 so may as well gamble that helton,an hoffman hold up an soriano hetas up.i can plug sandoval at catcher so losin posada was no biggie. an i need 1 more closer to help my stats an gain in a tight saves battle.losin pujols i know is big but i helped myself with 3 solid players

I'll be honest and say I probably wouldn't have done it, but I can understand some of your reasons. I would have looked to get a 2nd tier 3rd baseman in that deal if I'm giving away Pujols, and maybe a better option than Helton for 1B. Fingers crossed that Soriano and Helton produce for you produce and make the deal work out.

I wouldn't have done that... Hopefully it works out for you though...
