Yahoo Transaction Trends (Adds/Drops) broken?

For the past few weeks Ive noticed that the numbers for Adds and Drops (both in Transaction Trends and in the Research filter) seem to be wrong. The top added guys used to have like 5k-10k+ adds. Now I'm not really seeing anything over 500. And usually even much lower than that. Anyone else noticing this?

So my question to the Genie, is it in fact broken? Any idea when it will be fixed? Thanks!

I can confirm there is currently a problem with this, yes. Nobody had filed a bug, so your post was the first I heard of it. We confirmed that what you're seeing are the adds/drops in overnight processing (i.e. waiver claims and the side effects of processed trades), but the real-time drop/adds are not getting accumulated. We looked into it a bit, and while these problems are often pretty easy to find, something very strange is going on this time. But I'd expect now that it is on our radar it should be fixed soon. Hopefully tomorrow, but no promises.

Problem should be fixed. It is catching up now, and I'd expect it to be up-to-date later this morning. I don't recall if we expose buzz data for past days somewhere, but if we do that will be incorrect. I skipped a bunch of processing to get today up and running as soon as possible.

Thanks for the heads up. I keep mentioning this, but if you guys see problems, please do let our customer care guys know. It is always a shame when a problem like this has been hanging out a while and nobody let us know.

Yep, I'm seeing the higher number of adds now, looks to be getting back to normal. In the future I will be sure to shoot an email to customer care before bothering you here. Although, with the fast service you provide its hard to resist asking here. Thanks again.
