Lind/Oswalt for Hamilton/Peavy? WHIR

Postby sixer03fan » Wed Jun 17, 2009 12:58 am

Yo guys, this is a buy low trade for Josh Hamilton and Jake Peavy. There are some rumors that Peavy may not play again this year, while other reports have him out for only a month. I would not be concerned with having to wait out for these guys because I'm just looking to build my team up for a nice playoff run come September. When Manny comes back, with Peavy, Volquez, and Hamilton my team could be sick... I already proposed Oswalt for Peavy and this was rejected earlier in the week. I know Lind is playing very well, but would you do this deal if you were me?

I give: Adam Lind, Roy Oswalt
I get: Josh Hamilton, Jake Peavy

Here's my roster. Leave a link and I'll get back to you. Thanks.

i'm hearing peavy out until at least late august - the pads will prob not be in playoff contention so wondering if he just shuts down - he doesn't want to be in SD anyway.

Call me crazy - but i like Lind more than Hamilton this year - he was the top prospect in Tor before coming up and is still producing
