I just traded James Loney for Adrian Beltre, and am curious to know if I'm blinded by homerism and made a bad deal. This is a complete dynasty league.
I have Chris Davis moving over to 1B, as well as Justin Smoak on my bench.

Pretty even deal but I would rather have Loney. He still seems to be producing even without the HR. And when Manny comes back everyone in the lineup should improve. But don't feel bad for making the trade you definitely did not get ripped off I think it's pretty fair overall.
help?

Obviously the "upside" is with Loney, but you can't deny the HR/RBI advantage of Beltre over Loney right now. Not a bad move.

even players in my mind and beltre's position eligibility helps a lot.

I'm not a big Loney fan, and Beltre's a 2nd half guy. So at least for this year you're winning that trade.
