Fair Trade? Who has the edge?

Postby briane » Wed Jun 17, 2009 12:06 am

I was thinking of making this offer:

Miguel Cabrera and Shin-Soo Choo
for Kendry Morales, Dallas Braden, Scott Kazmir, Jed Lowrie, and Nelson Cruz

I would drop Kyle Davies and Clayton Richard or Brandon Morrow to allow Braden and Kazmir onto my team.

Am I giving up too much? Or is this a fair offer?

If you needed pitching, you wouldn't make this deal if you gave up M-Cab? Notice again: Avg., HR, OBP do not count, but Slugging does.

I guess I would be giving up too much, and probably won't make this offer. Is it close? That is why I threw on Choo and Cruz, to try to get some offense back.
