I don't really get why this is a big deal. It's HBO, the same network that airs Entourage, which has a homophobic character who employs a gay man as his assistant. It seems kind of hypocritical to freak-out about this when more than half of their programming is full of vulgar language and naked girls.

I think they want this kind of attention placed on a new show. It's not a coincidence that their next show is in September and something like this will keep the show in the news until it comes back on air.
