This is a very good team. I'd try and upgrade catcher and 2b though. I think Alomar is well past his prime. Use one of your many quality second tier sp's as bait.

I think you have a shot. But in an 11 team league, there's gotta be a better 2B.

i really feel alomar can bounce back this year in his new scenery... but other possible free agent 2B include

jimenez
hairston - i drafted him, but dropped him after injury
b. roberts
eric young
o. hudson
rivas

anybody care to reccomend any of these guys or rank the bunch w/ alomar included?

I have them ranked....

Jimenez
Alomar
Rivas
Hairston/Roberts
Hudson
E. Young-will not see playing time

Your team is pretty good. Chacon is closing for Colorado so I wouldn't drop him (BTW you have him on your roster twice). If you must drop one of those pitchers I'd drop either Riske or Valverde. Very solid team all around. Pitching is very good. Mauer won't do too much this year (.300 AVG 5 HRs). You can package two of your RPs for an improvement. Good Luck!

Check out my team...

i would drop chacon for another mr... and i would pick up bradley, i don't like starting Mauer (im still not sure about how quick he will adjust) but i still like your team.
