I don't see how you can justify keeping him so long as there is an actual closer available in the F/A market. Even if there is a closer, at this point it's probably one who will hurt your peripherals beyond any save value, I'd consider hanging on to Marmol. But it does seem that the Cubs value him as a set-up guy, so any trade value is really reduced. My main consideration would be how you're doing in saves...can you afford to miss out on 2 or 3 a week or not? That's pretty much what it comes down to in my mind.
