Verlander was pulled after only 73 pitches? I know he was having a bad game, but you think they would still leave him in since he had been fine for the most part since the 1st. Anyone watching the game know if something happened?

My guess is they were just trying to save Verlander's arm since it was already 5-0

That was one of the best ABs I've seen in a very long time.

It's not very often that a guy is so massively fooled that he has to throw the bat at the ball and then walk out to the pitcher, who just totally owned him, and ask for his bat back - only to end the AB with a 2-run single. Awesome sauce. ;-D
