The one question still out there for me about Harper is not his level of competition it's his attitude. Putting yourself in a position where you could be ejected from a WS game furthers this concern.
I've watched countless videos, read numerous articles, everything short of meeting the kid myself. Every indication points to him being pretty well rounded in the attitude department. He's 17. He's being hyped as the second coming of Christ, basically, and at least some of that is going to leak in and he's going to believe, occasionally, that maybe he is. I think people need to simply sit back and watch this very special kid just grow into whatever his place in the game will be. Whether you believe he'll cure cancer or fall flat on his face, he's 17 years old. Got a lot of maturing and growing up to do and of course, questions will abound, as they do with any other prospect. Maybe more so with this kid, since his potential meter is through the roof and he's so young, but for me, I think I'm going to sit back and enjoy the show, let him answer those questions himself.
