if you had Jake Peavy and didn't have a DL spot open for atleast another month to stash him in, would you drop him to pick up Ricky Nolasco???

Not unless you're EXTREMELY desperate for pitching. I'd drop a hitter and pick up a pitcher before dropping Peavy.

Agreed. The desperation would have to be HUGE to drop Peavy. Who is on the DL right now for you? I'd definitely drop a hitter rather than Peavy...or more than likely any other pitcher on your team.

I have Webb on my DL now so thats why it will be like a month until the spot is open. I was just considering this b/c of the news that he could be out 8-12 weeks, if thats the case I don't see much reason of keeping him. Do yous think he will actually be out this long?

Roto or H2H? If it's a roto, I'd drop him, if not I'd hang onto him. From what I've read he's probably going to miss at least 6-8 weeks. The range given by the team was 4-12 weeks. I don't see them rushing him back, since their season is already about done. I traded him for J Dye str8 up after I heard the news.

I think I'd stash Peavy on the DL since it's still uncertain as to how long/short his timetable is for coming back. I do believe Nolasco is worth picking up as well and so, you should DL Peavy while adding Nolasco.
