i cant see anything convincing me that Ricciardi should not be fired, and i cant see anything convincing me that Halladay should not be traded.. IF the Jays can get the right package of players for him. the Jays dont NEED Halladay 2010 and beyond. both Marcum and McGowan are coming back next season and with the other young pitchers currently on the major league team (along with Brett Cecil in the minors) Halladay and his potentially huge contract arnt NEEDED.
Halladay will help this team contend next season and into the future. And the Jays can easily afford his price, especially if he takes another bargain to stay. Unless the team plans to trade every veteran player they have and undergo a massive rebuilding process, there is no good reason to trade him. I can't stress this point enough.
