Bring on S.Drew or Tulo?

Postby damnitman » Sat Jun 13, 2009 8:50 pm

Theriot is my current SS but i see he has been dropped to 6th in the lineup. S.Drew and Tulo are both on the wire and am leaning towards S.Drew but need some thoughts. They are both getting hot with Tulo showing a little more power but S.Drew has been raking and seems entrenched in the 4th hole. If he stays in the 4th i feel he is a must add/drop.Is S.Drew for me?
Thanks WHIR

My lineup is:

C - P.Sandoval
1B- Pujols
2B- Pedroia
3B- Zimmerman
SS- ?
OF- Beltran
OF- Pierre/Werth
OF- J. Bruce
DH- D.Ortiz

Thanks

it looks like you have a lot of AVG guys but very few HR guys...id take a chance on tulo.

i would go with drew if it were me. however, tulo will get you more stolen bases and probably homers. both have about the same avg. i'd give drew a shot for a week. if he does nothing, while tulo continues to play everyday and hit, then i'd cut him for tulo.

Oddly enought AVG and OBP are the categories ive been losing these past few weeks. Also forgot to mention i have Votto on DL so he should be good for HR boost. I dont give much value to SBs because leauge cuz my league counts caught stealing. Still leaning S.Drew because im a sucker for the 4 slot and dont see much power differential between Drew and Tulo the rest of the year. Anymore suggestions? Thanks whir
