Second guessing a trade of mine that was just accepted. WHIR

ESPN Roto League. 11 teams. I've been in 2nd place for quite some time now. 83.5 pts. 1st place is 93 pts.

My current team is:

BATTERS

C Brandon Inge
1B Albert Pujols
2B Robinson Cano
3B David Wright
SS Clint Barmes
2B/SS (revolving door slot for me. I have been picking up anyone available almost each day to fill)
OF Jacoby Ellsbury
OF Shane Victorino
OF Alfonso Soriano
OF Aaron Rowand
OF Colby Rasmus
OF Pat Burrell
OF Johnny Damon
OF Nolan Reimold

PITCHERS

P Brian Wilson
P Frank Francisco
P Rafael Soriano
P Carlos Marmol
P Kerry Wood
P C.J. Wilson
P A.J. Burnett
P Tim Lincecum
P Chris Carpenter
P Johan Santana
P Dan Haren
DL Edinson Volquez

The trade I submitted that was just accepted is this:

My Alfonso Soriano, Pat Burrell, Aaron Rowand, and Carlos Marmol for his Brian Roberts, Andrew McCutchen, and Alex Rios

I am a Soriano fan and was hard to shop him to other teams since he carries such a low avg and seems to be in a funk. I figured this would be a good time to kinda buy low on Roberts since he has had a bad 2 weeks and Rios is really in a funk these days.

Did I do the right thing? I really now need power and RBI's in the outfield which I am lacking because of Ellsbury, Damon, and Victorino.

Do you need to carry that many OF to start or are some of them on your bench? If you are basically plugging Roberts into the 2B/SS spot and Rios into your OF, with McCutcheon taking on a role where he is platooning some, then this is a very good deal for you. I think you got two of the three best players in the deal, as Roberts, Rios, and Soriano are all roughly equal. That's why I like the deal for you.

I can start 5 Outfielders and 1 UTL person.

I usually start Soriano, Reimold, Victorino, Damon, and Ellsbury in the OF and plug Rowand in at UTL. Rasmus is just someone I picked up recently in case someone was not playing. I could care less about lossing Burrell since I just picked him up the other day and Rowand I've only had for 2 weeks off waivers.

Starting two out of three of Reimold, McCutcheon, and Rasmus is a decent deal for you. I think you did well here.
