Own Peavy and Webb, do I need more pitching??

Postby T Long » Sat Jun 13, 2009 11:36 am

I am in a 10 team H2H league and have Jake Peavy and Brandon Webb. I think my pitching staff is still solid w/o the two but do you's think I should try and trade for another SP because they will both be out for awhile...
also is there anything else you would suggest I look to trade for or pick up off of waivers

I think you are still sitting pretty good. It is tempting though to pick up both Nolasco and Hanson.

I could probably bring myself to drop Ervin Santana for Hanson. But I hate Big Erv, so that's just me.

If it's not a keeper league, I'd drop Erv. He's strugglin' this season.

Nolasco and Davis before he heats up a little bit. Those are the two I'd grab. Hanson is borderline in a 10 team league. Nolasco is proving that he is not borderline.

But your pitching is solid without Webb and Peavy.

I only have one DL spot and the news i'm hearing on Peavy is very bad, just saw that he could possibly miss 8 to 12 weeks. Should I consider dropping Peavy for Nolasco??
