Pretty rough day for Milton.

Earlier in the game with less than 2 outs (IIRC) he went for 3rd base (non-force) on a ball hit to the 3rd baseman and was tagged out.

He lost an easy fly ball in the sun. I think this led to an extra run.

And he flipped the ball into the stands but that runner didn't end up scoring. I love his Mr. Cool pose that he does there.

Bradley was a terrible signing...especially when the Cubs main objective was to get left handed and there were two other LH options out there (Ibanez and Abreu). Who knew that Ibanez would've played like he has, but geez, Abreu was signed for a ONE YEAR $5 MM deal AFTER Bradley was signed for 3 yr/$30 MM. Even if Abreu didn't work out like Bradley hasn't so far, it's only one year and not a lot of money...bad move Hendry.

And speaking of Hendry moves, getting rid of DeRosa to clear some space to make room for a move that didn't happen (i.e. get Peavy)...another great move...sorry, tangent...this thread is about Bradley.

Milton Bradley might be my favorite player. I remember Larry Walker doing this after catching a foul ball for the second out of an inning. I think a runner scored on Walker's play.

That was my favorite part also. I'm upset that the cubs couldn't beat the twins, but Bradley looking like a total fool all game long almost makes up for it.

It's always something with this character. He couldn't even be bothered to make the catch properly, what's with the sideways stance and the one-hand catch? Do the Cubs have a proctologist on call who can extract Milton's head?

I am proud to say that Bradley and Burrell were on my do not draft list.
