I'm a commish in my league and feel their should be at least 1 spot if not 2...the Co-commish says "its part of fantasy if players get hurt and its the easy way out to have DL spots"

Thoughts?
Yeah, it simulates real-life a little more closer to have at least 1 DL spot, IMO. I'm guessing that very few leagues have no DL spots.
Personally, I don't think you should limit DL spots. I shouldnt be forced to drop a quality player just so I can pick up a short-term fill in. Right now I have 5 starters, guys who were draftable in all leagues, on the DL in my main league. Without multiple DL spots I would have had to cut some of them or started a blank spot. Its far more even to let teams protect their own injured players.
(I do have an issue with teams picking up injured players in that situation though, shouldnt pick up players just to DL them)
The guys I currently have hurt Peavy Valverde A. Gordon Delgado Aviles Kasmir

It sucks...at least you can use a couple of those guys on the DL. I have Peavy, Votto, and Halladay and now just have to sit back and watch this season implode. I can't drop any of these guys, it's a keeper league, so I could be dropping a potential keeper for free which would allow somebody to stash them away and use a keeper on. It's stupid.
I think 2 DL spots is good for most leagues. But for leagues with a very shallow bench, 3 is probably better. The point of having a shallow bench is so you can't hoard speculative players, not so you have to start dropping valuable guys because you get hit with a lot of injuries.
every league ive played in has always had atleast 1. the custom leagues i play in have 2. i dont know why a league would not want atleast 1.
i think leagues should have atleast 1 NA spot. its not just for some prospect in the minors, but there are plenty of instances where players go on the barrevewhatever list, or when good players are struggling they get sent down to the minors (like Nolasco/Milledge). one shouldnt have to bench/drop those players.
