Bedard to miss start

Erik Bedard will miss his start Saturday with slight shoulder inflammation, according to manager Don Wakamatsu.
It isn't a serious injury as the Mariners plan to only have Bedard miss the one start. Brandon Morrow, who gets a reprieve from a potential minor league stint, will start in Bedard's place Saturday.

That was a quick stretch out for morrow. The kid pitches 2.1 innings, decides he wants to start, and suddenly gets the nod. This should be interesting.

Meh, matchup was hit or miss really...but this guy is consistently an injury issue. I traded for him last year (sent Atkins straight up) and Bedard goes down. Trade Aaron Hill for him this year thinking I sold high big time and he's burning me again.

Hill has cooled considerably and Bedard has only missed 2 starts. I wouldn't say he's burned you again...Yet anyways!!
I'm a little concerned, but hopefully he's ok to go next week.

I'd rather Bedard miss a start every 5 weeks than be without him for 5 weeks consecutively...he was a bargain in all drafts this season. I'm not worried
