I just noticed Halladay got pulled after the 3rd.

Went 3 IP, ER, 5 H...so it wasn't due to performance.

Anybody know what happened? :-o

Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay(notes) has left his start against Florida after apparently injuring his groin.

Halladay grimaced after throwing his second pitch in the third inning Friday night. Catcher Rod Barajas(notes) went to the mound, then motioned to the dugout, calling manager Cito Gaston and trainer George Poulis to join him.

Toronto’s infielders huddled on the mound as Halladay spoke with Gaston and Poulis. Halladay threw one warm-up pitch, then flipped the ball to Barajas and headed to the dugout.

The team says that Halladay tweaked a muscle in his right groin.

Halladay leads the major leagues with 10 wins and 103 innings pitched. He has won seven straight decisions and entered Friday’s game having thrown back-to-back complete games.

The Jays have now lost all of their starters to injury or FA from last year.
