My Team of Studs is Sinking -- Do a Trade Here? WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Thu Jun 11, 2009 6:56 pm

I have a number of studs on my team, but for 6 days now my team has failed to amass a batting average much over the Mendoza line. I have some guys in Soriano, Granderson, and Rollins that have been dead weight and useless to me for a while. Even Pujols, Cabrera and Longoria have been ice cold. Literally, this team is barely over .500 right now...

SO, do I seek out a trade with this other struggling team in my league? If so, who do I target? SHould I move Soriano or Granderson?

How many teams in the league? This team looks STACKED to me. I don't see many holes in your lineup. Dukes and Andrus leave a little to be desired, but other than that it looks good. Your pitchers are great as well. I'd be patient. You do have some streaky players. I think I'd just ride them out.

I agree ... ride it out. It's a H2H league and you're over 0.500 - that's fine for now. We all have those weeks where the whole team flirts with the Mendoza line. The only real weakness your team has is that it looks to be short of RPs. But I wouldn't trade for that ... those guys pop up all throughout the season.
