Fair deal for Brandon Webb?

Postby ajk23az » Thu Jun 11, 2009 6:18 pm

What do you think a fair deal would be to acquire Webb?

I offered Cain and Cuddyer (knowing it would get rejected) and he countered with Cain and Quentin for Webb. I personally think that is a bit much as I am a little low on power and Quentin SHOULD help me out there when he returns after the all-star break. They said Webb should be back in about a month. I am trying to sell high on Cain bc I don't think he will keep this up.

Your team's outfield is scarily looking just like mine. Firstly I also have Quentin and they say he should be back just after the all star break if at all. I'm not sure whether he will, but he will definetly not be 100% because Ozzie said if we are in a race, we will activate him but if not we will shut him down. BAsically he needs to rehab for a year until he gets back 100%. This makes him expendable. I believe the SF Giants will make a run at the playoffs esp in their weak division. I say Keep Cain. Webb is not due to come back until late June or early July anyway. If you really want to sell high, which i don't think is a good move, then try n get someone else with Webb because i've seen a trade in another league where Quentin was traded straight up for Webb. In other words, no its not a fair trade.
