Why did Carlos Lee Leave the 6/11 Game?

Boxscore looks like he had just 3 ABs and the game is going into the 13th. Does anyone know the reason why Lee was pulled?

Lee is often replaced by a better defensive player when the Astros have leads late in the game. Today, they were leading 1-0 in the top of the 9th when he was replaced. Hawkins then proceeded to blow the save.

And pisses me off. What happens when, gasp!, the closer blows the save? You have your best bat sitting on the bench being useless. Sheer genius. This is about the 10th time this year that the Stros have done this, and at least the 3rd time that Lee's turn to bat has come up with him sitting on the bench. I believe they've lost all 3 of those games. Brilliant!

I don't think so... This seems completely unrelated. He's usually pulled for defensive purposes.
